Damião is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Portuguese club F.C. Porto and the Brazil national team. He has played in over 2,500 matches for his country, scoring 176 goals.
Born on July 18, 1994, Damião began his career with Santos, where he made his debut in 2010. In 2011, he joined Atlético Mineiro, but was loaned to Santos in June 2012. In 2014, he moved to Santos again, this time on a permanent basis.
In 2016,Ligue 1 Snapshot Damião moved to FC Porto from Santos. He scored his first goal for the club on January 17, 2017 against Real Madrid, scoring a header that set up a 1-1 draw.
Throughout his career, Damião has been a key player for Porto, helping the club win several domestic titles and European competitions. He has also represented Brazil at various levels, including international duty for the senior squad.
In addition to his performances on the pitch, Damião has also been a valuable asset off the field, serving as captain of the club and contributing to its success both on and off the pitch.
