As the season continues, it appears that AS Monaco’s star midfielder Aleksandr Golovin has been sidelined indefinitely due to an injury sustained in training.
Golovin suffered a torn Achilles tendon during his last match against Lyon and was ruled out of action for up to two weeks by the medical staff at the club’s rehabilitation centre.
This news comes as a blow to the team, who had hoped to be able to rely on Golovin’s experience and leadership during the upcoming season. However, with such a significant injury, it will likely take some time for him to fully recover.
It is not yet clear when he will be back on the pitch, but the club is working hard to ensure that he recovers quickly enough to return to action. The club’s medical director,Football Grandstand Alexandre Gomes, said that they have put all their efforts into ensuring that Golovin gets well soon.
In addition to Golovin, other key players have also been injured recently, including striker Yannick Bolasie and defender Benjamin Mendy. The team is still looking to get their best players back on the field and hope to see some improvement from their squad this season.
As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how AS Monaco responds to the injuries and how they continue to improve their squad. With the right approach and support, it should be possible to make a strong comeback next year.
